Files in this tree deal with general-purpose issues.  The functionality
is suitable for inclusion into the PDL language itself -- i.e. it's of
interest to the scientific computing community in general, not just to
solar physicists.

As of 14-Jun-2005 the following subdirectories existed:


images		-  Routines for handling image data (FITS and otherwise)

numerical	-  Routines having to do with numerical simulation methods

time		-  Some simple interfaces to the time routines

misc 		-  Grab bag
