Study 000662: ACRONYM: DHB_HiC_FOXSI_02 This study is designed for sit-and-stare observations with the 266" wide slit in support of the FOXSI sounding rocket campaign in May 2026 (HOP 526). It is a modified version of DHB_HiC_FOXSI_01 with a shorter exposure time to avoid saturation in Fe XII 195. The campaign aims to observe a solar flare near-simultaneously in multi-wavelengths using several different instruments. The campaign will probe some of the fundamental questions in solar flare physics. TARGET: Active Region EXPOSURE TIME: 10s (20s delay) RASTER: No. Sit-and-stare observation. SLIT: 266" FOV: 266"x256" RASTER DURATION: 1h7m18s VOLUME: 334 Mbits RATE: 83 kbits/s COMPRESSION: JPEG75 Pointing: --------- A flaring active region. Warning: ------- One objective of these observations is to test slot inversion techniques. The study therefore takes almost the full-CCD and has a high data rate.
