Study 000427: ACRONYM: ATLAS_060X512_60S TARGET: Active Region EXPOSURE TIME: 60s RASTER: Scanning SLIT: 1" FOV: 60"x512" (1" steps) RASTER DURATION: 1h4m57s VOLUME: 823 Mbits RATE: 210 kbits/s COMPRESSION: DPCM This is a VERY high data rate study for times during eclipse when SOT is not operating, such as during a bakeout. The full CCD is taken over a relatively small field of view (60x512) so that larger areas can be built up over time. Pointing: --------- If using for velocity studies, adjust the pointing so that there is plenty of quiet Sun at the top OR the bottom of the slit. Position the active region at the top or bottom third of the slit. Instruction to planners: ------------------------ This study only does 60 steps of 60s exposures so that it can be used during eclipse season. This version of the study uses 60s exposures and can be run when there are no SAAs (Golden period). Use the 45s version (ID #426) of this raster (atlas_060x512_45s) for times with with both hard eclipse and SAA periods. Use DPCM if possble, otherwise use JPEG95 or JPEG92. Warning: ------- * VERY HIGH DATA RATE! * Do (not) run during SAA passes or eclipse
