WEEKLY MEETING MINUTES Week 28, July 7-13, 2003 1. Announcements ---------------- * We expect to keep getting Medium Rate telemetry through the Low Gain Antenna (LGA) during 34 meter passes and High Rate during 70 meter stations. Starting about 10 July we expect to get high rate using the High Gain Antenna on 34 meter passes. Starting about 14 July, we expect to get High Rate even on 26 meter stations (i.e., we're back to normal, except the spacecraft will be rolled by 180 degrees). Until we get enough high rate periods to downlink science data covering all 24 hours of the day, we expect to use the SSR to record short periods of science data during non-contact periods, at times chosen by VIRGO. 2. Operations Constraints ------------------------- * We plan to do a station keeping, momentum management, and a 180 degree roll maneuver on Tuesday July 8, with the SORR taking place on Monday after the 9am local staff meeting. The schedule is being worked out, and a draft will be sent out after today's weekly meeting. Fuel estimate is 0.01935 kg. 3. UVCS: After maneuvers, UVCS plans to recover on Wednesday. Science plans for first days are TBD (Cassini Conjunction OR JOP155). LASCO: Will close doors and safe at about 12 UT Monday. Recovery is planned for 16 UT Thursday. EIT: 195 CME watch and synoptics. MDI: Running structure while in medium rate. Magnetograms will be dumped when possible (when in high rate, subject to the SSR dump not being compromised). Loop will be open during maneuvers. Friday: possibly tuning reload and leg alignment. TRACE: AR tracking, other plans TBD. AOB: ---
