WEEKLY MEETING MINUTES Week 22, May 29 - June 4, 2000 1. Announcements ---------------- * No daily meeting on Monday due to holiday. * On Thursday, a camera crew from Norway might be filming in the EOF. 2. Operations Constraints ------------------------- On Thursday, from either 05:45 - 06:10 or 22:00 - 22:30 UT.. JPL will need to reset a switch timer. This means no real-time telemetry or real-time commanding during this time. The data will be recorded and played back to us later (i.e. the SSR will not be in record, it will be recorded on the JPL ground system). DOWNLINK ONLY STATIONS - Mon DSS-27 14:30-16:45 UT Tues DSS-65 07:10-12:55 UT Wed DSS-45 00:30-05:30 UT Thurs DSS-27 12:40-16:20 UT Frid DSS-63 11:10-12:50 UT DSS-27 12:40-16:45 UT Sat DSS-27 12:15-15:25 UT Sun DSS-27 12:40-16:20 UT 3. Tues - Synoptics, high temperature line study and coordinated active region study. Wed - Synoptics, coronal density scans (14 hrs), coordinated active region study and engineering. Thurs - Synoptics, TRACE and La Palma sunspot study, coordinated active region study. Frid - Same as Thursday. Sat - Synoptics, TRACE and La Palma sunspot study and CME onset study. Sun - Synoptics, off limb coronal studies and explosive events study. They may do a JOP104 "dry run" for testing, if there is time. UVCS -- Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, UVCS will do a special study: Latitudinal dependence of H I Ly-alpha and O VI line profiles. They will look at streamers at the pole, equator, and mid-latitudes at several heights. UVCS will alternate this study with its 24-hour full synoptic program. LASCO -- C2 and C3 synoptics. EIT -- 195 CME watch and synoptics. MDI -- Full disk magnetograms and dopplergrams all week. This will support the La Palma campaigns. TRACE -- Monday: AR9017, Tuesday: AR9010 and coronal rain study. Later in the week: Sunspots on disk, until good limb target arises.
