SOHO Daily Meeting Minutes for Tuesday 18 November 2003 ANNOUNCEMENTS ------------- * JOP153 Major Flare Watch (#7000) current target is AR10501 (formerly AR10484). * In the ECS software that sends out the DSN/NRT schedules, we have returned DSS-27 to the uplink station list. We have found its support to be adequate for instrument commanding. Some instruments prefer not to do critical commanding on Dss-27 but it can be used for all other commanding. The metering rate is always set slightly slower in the EOF for this station as an extra precation. * Helicopters will be hovering above GSFC at 1000 ft for infrared imaging of buildings in the time span 19-21 November to determine rooftop water collection points. Flyovers will also be made at nighttime. * The HGA test in single-winding mode was performed yesterday. The test was not successful (one pulse was observed, not the expected second pulse). Dual-winding mode was then successfully used to restore and verify the ideal position. Contact SOCs for more details.
