ANNOUNCEMENTS

* The next daily meeting will be on Wednesday, 26 December.
* Holiday contact information - Each instrument team should email
to the SOCs a special contact list with vacation dates and phone
numbers where people can be reached while out of town.
* SPWG on today at 11am in the EAF
* NASA HQ/ID has requested that the Center treat green card holders (permanent
residents) as foreign nationals. The implications of this is being worked out.
* It may be impossible to access MDI data on 30-31 December since they are
re-arranging the computer room.
* DSS-16 is in maintenance and won't be up until week 2 of 2002.

354/155141 SUMER violates configmon limits. Experimenter contacted.

Ground Anomalies:
354/1402 8 minute commanding lost. D27. CPA failure.
354/2235 7.7 minute commanding delay. D46. Wayward command.
355/0114 4 minute commanding lost. D46. Loss of lock on receiver 2.
Antenna cooling problem.

INSTRUMENT STATUS
-----------------
CDS: Nominal. Today - Coronal hole observations in the south.
Saturday - AR 9733 loop study, then starting 11-day active
region variability study with MDI.
UVCS: Nominal. Active region streamer study on AR 9733 continues
today, then 14-hour synoptic. Weekend - coronal hole observations
in the south and synoptics.
LASCO: Nominal. C2/C3 synoptics. For the next month, color sequences
will be taken daily in C3 for flat fielding purposes.
EIT: Nominal. 195 Angstrom CME watch and synoptics.
MDI: Nominal. MDI switched to high res campaign yesterday to observe
AR 9742. This will continue until MDI switches after 04:50 UT
tomorrow to full disk campaign of magnetograms and dopplergrams.
TRACE: Nominal. Observing AR 9742 until Wednesday.
