ANNOUNCEMENTS

* SPWG today at 2pm in EAF.
* The TV show "Planet Storm" includes a sequence showing the launch
and recovery of the SERTS solar rocket payload last June.
It will be broadcast on Discovery Channel on Sunday, June 17, at
8pm, 10pm, and 12 midnight. Check your local listings guide.

INSTRUMENT STATUS

CDS: Nominal. Particle beam study on AR 9502, engineering studies, JOP142
support. Weekend: JOP142 support, CME watch with UVCS, usual weekend
studies.
UVCS: Nominal. Today: Zeta Tau observations. Saturday: synoptics, Jupiter
observations. Sunday: CME watch with CDS.
LASCO: Nominal. C2/C3 synoptics and JOP139 observations until EIT bakeout
starts, then there will be increased cadence white light sequences
and pB sequences.
EIT: Nominal. The 13 UT synoptics will be the last ones until Tuesday at
00:00 UT because EIT will be doing a bakeout.
MDI: Nominal. Full disk observations in support of JOP142.
TRACE: Nominal. Supporting JOP142 and doing active region studies.
