MEDOC Daily minutes - Monday, May 21 2001 ---------------------------------------- Announcement: ------------- Giannina Poletto made the point that because of the weak activity of AR 9454, Sac Peak will observe instead AR 9463. However, UVCS will keep its observing program on AR 9454. Week-end observations --------------------- CDS (D. Pike) : as scheduled. Filament well visible in 584 A. The Cambridge AR watch was run on AR 9454. SUMER (P. Lemaire) : Very good observations of a filament in the Lyman series, with a clearcut separation between quiet Sun et filament profiles. Scattered H Lalpha and HeI (584 A) profiles. EIT (J-P. Delaboudiniere) : CME watch in both 195 and 304 A : successful on May 15, 17 and 21 (Prominence DB at NE limb at about 2 UT) Monday 21 : ----------- The SUMER active reference spectrum is run on the same target as the Cambridge AR watch (AR 9454).
