SOHO Daily Meeting Minutes for Tuesday, 15 May 2001 ANNOUNCEMENTS ------------- * There will be no daily meetings in the EOF during MEDOC. Minutes with relevant information (FOT report, commanding issues, MEDOC minutes etc) will be sent out at approximately 10am local. * Commanding should be done early for the next few days due to DSS27 each afternoon. MDI: Nominal. Full disk/high res doppler campaign for continuous contact. TRACE: Nominal. JOP131 support. MEDOC Daily minutes - Tuesday, May 15th --------------------------------------- Past observations (Monday 14th) -------------------------------- "Helium problem" (C. Jordan): nice observations with CDS. JOP131/107: THEMIS was not able to support JOP131/107 yesterday due to technical reasons. The instrument should be ready this afternoon. The target (filament) selected last friday probably disappeared. No obvious signature in the CDS f.o.v. Same remark from other GBOs. SUMER: Door opened successfully; slit at x=+860" Test will be done during NRT on the wavelength calibration --> offset (15 pixels) to be corrected. Comment: ------- TRACE: could the planning be updated for our daily meeting ? (we discovered this morning what are the plans for today; but the plans for tomorrow were empty). Thank you. Response from TRACE: TRACE will coordinate with the JOPs that it has committed to. Beyond that, TRACE will probably follow SUMER's lead for pointings. Tuesday 15th: ------------- JOP131/107 and 124 on the large filament on S-W and associated (possible) prominence.
