SOHO Daily Meeting Minutes for Wednesday 08 October 2003 ANNOUNCEMENTS ------------- * Note that SOC office staffing will be somewhat irregular during the keyhole period. Staffing for today: SOC here from 8am-4:30pm, student here from 4pm-8pm. Staffing for tomorrow: SOC here from 7am-4pm, student here from 6pm-10pm. * Current RHESSI default target is AR10471. When selecting this target to maximize coordination w/others, use campaign number 6850. * SOC office hardware upgrade test was moved to today during the gap in DSN contact. SOC office ECS software and several computers were brought down at 8:30am (12:30 UT), and they are now operational again. * SOC software will be brought down tomorrow during the gap for upgrades. * Thursday at 1:30pm (17:30 UT) we will have security scans in the EOF. * If any instrument can identify large chunks of data that became useless due to the low SNR on the DSS43 pass earlier today (including the dump of the preceeding gap), please notify the SOCs so the information can be passed on as an impact. * Goddard's Main Gate at Greenbelt Road will be closed beginning Friday, October 10 at 6 pm until Tuesday, October 14 at 6 am. This closure is necessary to install security barriers. All those entering or leaving the Center during this time should do so through Gate 5 by Building 17 at Soil Conservation Service Road. Building 09, at the Main Gate, will remain open for business as usual. This closure is planned for a holiday weekend to minimize the inconvenience to commuters.
