ANNOUNCEMENTS

* RHESSI and High Cadence AR Study target for today is AR 0061;
target for tomorrow is AR 0061.
* The solar exhibit at the National Academy of Sciences closes on
16 August. The gallery entrance is at 2100 C Street;
Phone: 202-334-2436; Hours: 9 am to 5 pm weekdays.
* PMI contractors are scheduled to perform preventive maintenance
on the UPS-15 system on August 9 from 8:30AM until 4:30PM. The
UPS system will be in bypass and the load will be on commercial
power during this activity. No impact to operations is expected.
3-UPS-15 supports SOHO, WIND/POLAR and XTE missions.

studies. CME onset study Saturday evening.
UVCS: Nominal. West limb CME watch and mini-synoptic. Tomorrow:
east limb CME watch and mini-synoptic. Sunday: 24-hour synoptic.
LASCO: Nominal. C2/C3 synoptics and hourly C2 pB images, JOP159.
EIT: Nominal. 195 CME watch and synoptic.
MDI: Nominal. High resolution observations of AR0061. Switching to
full disk magnetograms and dopplergrams on Saturday.
TRACE: Nominal. High Cadence AR Study.
