* Firewall maintenance today from 17-18 UT. No commanding during

INSTRUMENT STATUS

CDS: Nominal. Extended effects of flares study, Major Flare Watch
on AR 0069. Tomorrow - CDS will sit and stare through the
offpoint. Later CDS will observe AR 0069, do a coronal hole
study in the north and a study on old AR 0036 as it returns in
the east.
UVCS: Nominal. Safing for the offpoint. Coronal hole study will continue
after recovery on Tuesday afternoon.
LASCO: Nominal. C2/C3 synoptics, supporting extended effects of flares
study and supporting Major Flare Watch. Tomorrow: offpoint.
EIT: Nominal. 195 CME watch and synoptic, supporting extended effects
of flares study and supporting Major Flare Watch. Doing
pre-offpoint calibrations today. Tomorrow: offpoint.
MDI: Nominal. Full disk magnetograms and dopplergrams, supporting
Major Flare Watch. Tomorrow: offpoint.
TRACE: Nominal. Observing AR0069 for the Major Flare Watch and extended
effects of flares study. Will support the offpoint and probably
the Flare Build-Up and Energy Release in AR's study tomorrow.
