SOHO Daily Meeting Minutes for Wednesday, 5 December 2001
ANNOUNCEMENTS
-------------
* Science Seminar by Judit Pap (GESTC/UMBC) on Comparison of the
VIRGO/CELIAS/SEM, and UARS/SUSIM UV irradiance time series with magnetic
features derived from the SOHO/MDI images. The seminar will be in the EAF
at 3:30 pm on Wednesday 5 December.
* We will have visitors on Thursday and Friday in the EOF.
* 26 meter automation testing scheduled for next Monday from 18-20 UT.
* Anyone interested in being mentors for summer students (physics and
computer science majors) should see the SOC's for details on a program.
This program will be funded by a NASA grant, so there will be no cost for
mentors. The first meeting is this Friday, 10am - 12 noon, so check
with the SOC's as soon as possible if you are interested.
