Ground Anomalies:
271/1842 NRT commanding halted due to CMS hang up. Cause of
CMS problem unknown. NRT commanding delayed 11
minutes.
271/1938 Lost 1 minute, 19 seconds of unrecoverable TLM due to
RFI at Goldstone.
272/1935 Lost 1 minute, 44 seconds of unrecoverable TLM due to
RFI at Goldstone.
272/2230 Ranging not performed due to inability to maintain
lock on receiver 1. Lost 9 hours, 50 minutes of
range data. Delayed commanding activities 30
minutes.

INSTRUMENT STATUS

CDS: Nominal. Full sun scan, polar plume study. Tomorrow: usual weekly
studies - probably AR flare diagnostic study, sunspot studies,
particle beam study. Planning on supporting JOP149 on Wednesday,
but exact times are TBD.
UVCS: Nominal. Streamer abundance study and mini-synoptic today (45 deg)
and tomorrow (position angle TBD).
LASCO: Nominal. C2/C3 synoptics.
EIT: Nominal. 195 CME watch and synoptics. Shutterless has been postponed
until October 13.
MDI: Nominal. Full disk magnetograms and dopplergrams. MDI will
support the polar plume study.
TRACE: Nominal. Observing AR 9632 and 9628 in 171A.
