SOHO Daily Meeting Minutes for Wednesday, 22 August 2001
ANNOUNCEMENTS

* SPWG is on Friday at 2 p.m. in the EAF. Please be sure to get
calendar changes to the SOCs as soon as possible.
* The phones will be switched over on Labor Day weekend to the
new phones. Starting Friday 31 August at 6pm all of our
phones will be down. Our building will be one of the first
to be brought back up, so by midnight on Friday we should have
working phones again.
If you have an instrument emergency, contact the SOC at home
(Joan: 410-531-3360, Emily: 410-451-1402, Stein: 410-997-8102)
and the SOC will call the FOT OE's.
Visitors will not be allowed on base that weekend. All local
SOHO people have been put on a list of people who are allowed
to come to Goddard that weekend or Monday.
While the phones are down please use 301-474-7075 for fire or
medical emergency. Other help numbers will be listed in the
minutes later.

Ground Anomalies:
233/2107 Lost lock on spacecraft receiver #2, cause unknown.
Delayed commanding actvities 5 minutes while the
uplink carrier was reswept. DR #G100241.

INSTRUMENT STATUS

CDS: Nominal. Synoptics from 02-08:30 UT, AR study in southeast from
9-14 UT, BBSO QS study from 16-23 UT, GIS dumps from 23-04 UT,
then synoptics. Tomorrow: AR study and GIS dumps. GIS raw dumps
will take precedence whenever NRT is available.
SUMER: Nominal. Full sun scattered Ly-A observations from 00-08:30 UT,
full sun scattered Ly-B observations from 08:30-17:30 UT,
and Alpha Leo observations at 19 UT until 14 UT Thursday,
followed by full Sun scattered spectra observations in the north.
UVCS: Nominal. Polar streamer and CME observations and mini-synoptics.
Tomorrow: polar streamer and CME observations and long synoptic.
LASCO: Nominal. C2/C3 synoptics, C3 comets in colors observations.
EIT: Nominal. 195 CME watch at half res and synoptics four times
a day at full res.
MDI: Nominal. Full disk dopplergrams and magnetograms.
TRACE: Nominal. Observing the active region in the southeast in 284A
today and tomorrow.
