SOHO Daily Meeting Minutes for Friday, 01 June 2001 FOT REPORT ---------- Spacecraft Status: Nominal Spacecraft Anomalies: None Accomplished Activities: VIRGO, Nominal HGA Table Planned Activities: VIRGO, RSL Upcoming Operations: None Ground Anomalies: None SOLAR STATUS ------------ 05/31 DOY 151 - 06/01 DOY 152 EIT daily On-Line Solar Status and observations: http://umbra.nascom.nasa.gov/eit/plan/log_form20010601.html LASCO daily On-Line Solar Status and observations: http://lasco-www.nrl.navy.mil/observations/2001/obs20010601.html INSTRUMENT STATUS ----------------- CDS: Nominal. Continuing on AR 9475 with active region and sunspot oscillation studies. In addition to the regular weekend studies CDS will do the Cambridge active region study on AR 9475 on Saturday. UVCS: Nominal. 24-hour synoptic. Weekend: solar wind study at 3-5 Rsun and mini-synoptics. LASCO: Nominal. C2/C3 synoptics and JOP139 support. EIT: Nominal. 195 CME watch and synoptics. MDI: Nominal. MDI is in hi res/normal focus mode now and will switch to full disk mode on Sunday. Calibrations are planned for later today. TRACE: Nominal. We will continue to observe AR 9475 for most of the day with the basic TR/chromo/photo program (171/1600/wl) and a flare response, though the chances for flares seem small. This is also the HESSI target. The AR crosses central meridian on this day. We also do a N/S synoptic and some observations of the West limb. The latter is to provide a snapshot of the AR's currently crossing the limb and get some 1216/1600 images for CCK to experiment with. There is also a focus mechanism test during one of the bad SAA's.
