SOLAR STATUS ------------ EIT daily On-Line Solar Status and observations: http://umbra.nascom.nasa.gov/eit/plan/log_form20001114.html LASCO daily On-Line Solar Status and observations: http://lasco-www.nrl.navy.mil/observations/2000/obs20001114.html INSTRUMENT STATUS ----------------- CDS: Report from Giulio Del Zanna at RAL: CDS is currently planning for tomorrow the 15th the usual synoptic studies, and at 16:00 the INTERCALIBRATION 1. Pointing to be provided by EIT (waiting for confirmation). Then, in the morning we will run some high time resolution studies at the south limb, and for the rest of the day we will continue the Cambridge AR diagnostic campaign. We will continue to observe NOAA 9229, and toward the end of the day we will observe NOAA 9231 (?) in support of the Sac Peak/MDI/TRACE/Yohkoh observations SUMER: Closed door yesterday. UVCS: Recovered their instrument yesterday and resumed science observations with South Pole study. Today: 24 hour synoptic. Tomorrow: South Pole study and mini-synoptic. LASCO: C2 and C2 synoptics. EIT: 195 CME watch, synoptics and ICAL001 for tomorrrow. MDI: Nominal. Full disk mode continues in support of collaboration with Sac Peak. TRACE: Will be looking at AR9231 in support of Photospheric Magnetic Signature Study with MDI, Yohkoh, and Sac Peak.
