Lost ability to command for 20 minutes. 286/0958 Invalid clock correlation output due to TGC failure at D66. JOPs ---- JOP131: The target for tomorrow Oct 13th will be a newly appeared active region: AR 9192. Solar coordinates on 12th Oct O:UT S14 E02 JOP104: The pointing from 13 Oct 4:00 until Oct 15 8:00 will be x=-980" y = 300" (slit from y =450" to 150") (SOHO co-ordinates) N15 deg, E 90 deg (heliographic at limb) INSTRUMENT STATUS ----------------- CDS: Nominal. JOP104 and JOP131 support. Polarity reversal studies continue. SUMER: Nominal. JOP104 continues. UVCS: Nominal. JOP104 and mini-synoptics. UVCS observations of comet SOHO-204 can be seen at: http://cfa-www.harvard.edu/~muzzo/COMET/C204_image.gif LASCO: Nominal. C2/C3 synoptics. Another sungrazer discovered: comet SOHO-206 EIT: Nominal. CME watch and JOP131 support. MDI: Nominal. Full disk program continues in support of JOP131. TRACE: Nominal. Supporting JOP131 with 171 Angstrom images. The shuttle did launch last night so hopefully TRACE will not have any more lost passes (and a few hours of data) as a result.
