It did not launch on Saturday. * Submode change from #5 to #6 Tuesday at 17 UT. FOT REPORT ---------- Spacecraft Status: Nominal Spacecraft Anomalies: 140/2156 CDS mnemonic (CUVMCP) violated red high limits. Accomplished Activities: 140: VIRGO, RSL 141: MDI x4, VIRGO, SWAN 142: VIRGO, Flight S/W Maint. Planned Activities: VIRGO Upcoming Operations: Submode switch tomorrow during D27 support. Ground Anomalies: None SOLAR STATUS ------------ SOLAR ACTIVITY FORECAST: SOLAR ACTIVITY IS EXPECTED TO BE AT LOW TO MODERATE LEVELS. OCCASIONAL C-CLASS FLARES ARE EXPECTED. ISOLATED M-CLASS FLARES ARE POSSIBLE. GEOPHYSICAL ACTIVITY FORECAST: THE GEOMAGNETIC FIELD IS EXPECTED TO BE AT QUIET TO UNSETTLED LEVELS DURING MOST OF THE PERIOD WITH A CHANCE FOR ACTIVE LEVELS ON 23 MAY. PROTON AND ELECTRON FLUXES AT GEOSYNCHRONOUS ORBIT ARE EXPECTED TO REMAIN AT BACKGROUND LEVELS. INSTRUMENT STATUS ----------------- CDS: Nominal. Today - Explosive events study all day except during Intercal 1. Tuesday - Polarity reversal study on both poles and engineering. SUMER: Observed today and will power down tomorrow morning. They will move their slit and leave the door open for the next observing period later in June. UVCS: Nominal. Today - synoptic observations (repeated 6-hour scans on a streamer in the north). Tuesday - CME watch. LASCO: Nominal. C2 and C3 synoptics. SOHO sungrazing comet #116 can be seen in LASCO data from May 19-20. EIT: Nominal. 195 Angstrom CME watch and synoptics. MDI: Nominal. Full disk magnetograms and dopplergrams. La Palma had good seeing on the weekend and all went well for MDI. TRACE: Nominal. Continue coordination with LaPalma, awaiting coordinates from them.
