INSTRUMENT STATUS

CDS: Nominal. Synoptics and sunspot oscillation study with TRACE.
Tomorrow interconnecting loop study and JOP 120 (17-24 UT)
UVCS: Nominal. 24 hour synoptics begins today.
LASCO: Nominal. Observations with C2 and C3 while CME watching.

MDI: Nominal. High resolution disk magnetograms and dopplergrams.
TRACE: Nominal. This is day 6 of the 7 day quiet sun study.
The quiet sun program is 171/wl/1600 with a 60s cadence
except during times of scarce telemetry when we just do
171/wl. The 171 images are fixed exposure (32s). The flare
flag is active in the unlikely event of a flare.
Today TRACE will look at Sunpot of AR8970 for a 30-minute
high cadence program then back to Quiet Sun Study.
