AND 8963 WILL LIKELY CONTINUE TO PRODUCE C-CLASS ACTIVITY.
GEOPHYSICAL ACTIVITY FORECAST: THE GEOMAGNETIC FIELD IS EXPECTED TO REMAIN
AT QUIET TO UNSETTLED LEVELS.

JOP INFORMATION

JOP 83 and JOP 119: On Thursday pointing will be AR 8967 for both JOPs.
INSTRUMENT STATUS
-----------------
CDS: Nominal. Today JOP 119, JOP 83, synoptics, and sunspot oscillations
study on AR 8962. Tomorrow CDS will run JOP 83 from 00-05 UT and
JOP 119 from 12-18 UT.
UVCS: Nominal. Began a 3-day run of their 24-hour synoptics program.
LASCO: Nominal. C2 and C3 synoptics.
EIT: Nominal. EIT is supporting JOP 83 and JOP 119. This evening
EIT will be in the northeast on AR 8967 for JOP 83. EIT movies
of current JOP 83 observations can be found at:

MDI: Nominal. Full disk magnetograms and dopplergrams in support of
JOP 83 and JOP 119.
TRACE: Nominal. Today - Active region study and JOP 83 on AR 8955 and
JOP 119 on AR 8967.
