Explosive Events Study Sunday offlimb in north and south then will have 10 hours to observe another target or do a limb study. UVCS: Synoptics and 13 hours of calibrations today. CME watch tonight and through the weekend. LASCO: Participating in the VLA Microbursts campaign Saturday and Sunday from 16 to 21 UT with C1 and C2 polarizers and orange filters. EIT: Calibrations today before bakeout begins. Bakeout will continue through the weekend. MDI: Two hours of calibrations today, then at 18 UT will begin full disk magnetogram and cropped dopplergram program that will run through the weekend to support CDS Polarity Reversal Study and (during high rate) the VLA Microbursts campaign. TRACE: Today: Testing program for the VLA Microbursts campaign using 2x2 summed 171 and 195 Angstroms plus 1600 Angstroms with white light on an emerging flux area seen during the previous 2-panel observations. This will be followed by synoptics and a test of the 195 Angstrom flare watch program on an AR near the SE limb.
