10 December 1999 Daily Meeting Minutes -------------------------------------- Announcements --------------- * THANKS TO EVERYONE for their efforts in getting SOHO back into NORMAL POINTING MODE !!! * Reminder, the holidays are coming up...! For those who are on an instrument emergency contact list (you know who you are..!), please let the SOCs know if any of your team members will be either unreachable or at different phone numbers during the holidays. This will save us valuable time, if there is a need to call someone. Please supply the SOC with relevant staffing and phone numbers by December 17 (or sooner!).. so that we have time to compile these. * For Washington, D.C. SOHO personnel: Check out the SOHO real-time display near the Christmas tree in Union Station, as part of the Northern Light Exhibit. The exhibit is a bridge between natural and liberal sciences, showing the magic of Aurora Borealis. Created in connection with the 1994 Olympics at Lillehammer, the exhibit has been displayed several places in Europe and Asia, but never in the United States. The Northern Light Exhibit is also coinciding with the the annual "Norwegian Christmas at Union Station" - the official program can be found at http://www.norway.org/xmas/index.html Activities Performed Yesterday ------------------------------- * Momentum management #2 * Station keeping * Momentum management #3 * Recovery to Normal Mode - Experiment off-pointing flag enabled to UVCS and MDI - FOT to close MDI ISS loop - SWAN Recovery n_fl_llockout and ESR flag enable uplink: SWA991209081.DEL Last thruster firing was at ~ 23:13 UT last night.
