Recoverable Also today: 18:15 UT Submode 5 to 6 change by RPR. SOLAR STATUS ------------ SOLAR ACTIVITY FORECAST: SOLAR ACTIVITY IS EXPECTED TO BE LOW TO MODERATE. C-CLASS EVENTS WITH AN ISOLATED M-CLASS ARE POSSIBLE FROM SEVERAL REGIONS ON THE SOLAR DISK. GEOPHYSICAL ACTIVITY FORECAST: THE GEOMAGNETIC FIELD IS EXPECTED TO BE QUIET TO UNSETTLED THROUGH THE FORECAST PERIOD. 6/14 DOY 165: 09:24 UT EIT beginning of South Polar crown filament erupted in SSE. Seen in Lasco C2, and C3 beginning at 13:26 with images showing Leading edge which develop into large CME containing distinct ejecta (15:06 UT C2). Nice! 17:12 UT EIT sees small ejection from behind SE limb. 6/15 DOY 166: 02:45 UT Trace sees a filament lift-off from AR8585. This was observed in Carbon 4 channel with no UV signatures. Quite Cool! Images resemble an "X" pattern with dark absorption features (no brightnings) 08:00 UT EIT, SE filament lift-off. INSTRUMENT STATUS ----------------- CDS: Nominal. Performed JOP 98 and JOP 108.Tomorrow the same. Will be closing doors for Momentum management at 21:00 UT tomorrow. SUMER: Nominal. Preformed AR study in NW and is continuing until doors close and power-down detectors scheduled for 17:00 today. UVCS: Nominal. Performed synoptics and performing Zeta-Tau observation program for calibration and special flat fielding. Preparation for maneuvers tomorrow at 21:00 UT. LASCO: Nominal. C2 and C3 synoptics while CME watching. Doors close at 20:00 UT tomorrow. EIT: Nominal. 195A CME Watch Half Res. Begin FFFres images at 19:00 UT in submode 6. MDI: Nominal. Full disk campaign mode. Geting FD Mags and Dopplers. Are supporting JOP 98 for flares and JOP108 for Sunspots. TRACE: Nominal. Performed JOP 98,Jop 108; Tomorrow the same with Spicules campaign added.
