Food, etc. from 16:00 -16:50 UT (12:00 - 12:50 pm local) during the SVM reserved period. After 16:50 UT, non-essential personnel will have to vacate as NRT will then be available prior to the roll. * The weekly meeting scheduled for Friday will be moved to a 'Planning Caucus' after the Thursday morning meeting. All planners for next week are asked to attend. There will be no formal weekly meeting on Friday -- the Thursday caucus will substitute. FOT REPORT ---------- Spacecraft Status: Nominal Spacecraft Anomalies: None Accomplished Activities: VIRGO, CELIAS, SUBMODE 6 Planned Activities: RSL, VIRGO Upcoming Operations: 6/24-6/29 Maneuver Operations Ground Anomalies: 173/1928 TC Block Sequence errors during UVCS NRT (22 min NRT pause) 174/0537 TC Unexpected Mode 5 error 174/0541 S/C RCVR2 lost lock (3 min delay to resweep) RECENT SOLAR IMAGES ------------------- Yesterday CME from new AR 8252 just West of veteran region 8249 south at central meridian. LASCO saw large eruption from NW quadrant in both C2 and C3 data. C1 and C2 saw results of H-Alpha emision during this event while this program was running. Today quiet sun. AR 8252 now decayed as of 13:00 UT today. TRACE has Expanding Loop Images on Latest Images Page From June 22. INSTRUMENT STATUS: ----------------- TRACE - Nominal. Disappearence of the Sunspot region caused program change. Coronal Hole Study Noon today till 00:00 UT. Will change to an Active Region Study around AR 8243 from 00:00 - noon UT tommorow. CDS - Nominal. Completed monthly irradiance measurement. Filament observations just after the synoptic; Running Extended Coronal Hole Study and Sunspot Study today. Regular monitoring activities. Showed Monthly Radience measurment results with comparison of He II 304A and Si XI 303A with ratio. SUMER - Detector off. During the Friday roll, SUMER will follow the limb of the Sun around. A couple of spicule observations on Saturday; more collaboration will be coordinated after this meeting. EIT - Nominal. Bakeout over and post bake calibrations 14-18:00 UT. Roll Maneuver testing finished and CME watch through the night. Exposure and Off-Point program work today. LASCO - Nominal. Synoptic program. Roll program testing yesterday. preparation for upcoming closed door observations. UVCS - Nominal. Performing synoptic scan. Today after the synoptic, middle latitude streamer scan between 2.5 - 4 Rsun for densities and elemental abundance determination. MDI - Nominal. Most-of-disk magneto- and dopplergram campaign runs, with an interruption for leg adjust today. Dynamics campaign (filtergrams and dopplergrams) during the maneuvers. Best-focus run will happen sometime in the next few days.
