Sunday: Eruptive filament from N/NW at 03:46; halo CME from S/SW at 2:30-14:00. Monday: Eruptive filament from NW at 09:40; from same region at 11:16 was a CME; filament channel on disk erupted at 11:30 and is still erupting and twisting. INSTRUMENT STATUS ----------------- CDS: Nominal. Weekend: sunspot observations of AR at SW, spectral atlas of boundary of S coronal hole, observations of coronal abundances in SW with UVCS. Today: observe AR in NW just at the limb. Tomorrow: look at AR in SW at the limb, filament observations in NW. SUMER: Not observing. UVCS: Nominal. Line profiles in streamers, looking today at NE streamer at 1.6 Rsun and tomorrow at 2.1 Rsun. LASCO: Nominal. Weekend: study by Dennis Socker. This week: synoptic program, high cadence Iron XIV images - 4 times an hour. EIT: Nominal. Synoptic now, at 19:00 will switch to 304 CME watch. This is a good week to collaborate with EIT since they may or may not do a 304 CME watch again. MDI: Nominal. Continuing continuous contact. TRACE: Launch scheduled for Wednesday at 9:40 pm local time.
