Information given over the voice loops indicated that the payload functioned nominally. JOP013 -- ran this morning at disk center, Tomorrow: may drop SUMER's Carbon III line from study to avoid high counts. Will probably target south of disk center to avoid active region. Instrument Reports ------------------- CDS -- supported rocket program yesterday, today: JOP013, active region and spectral atlas studies. tomorrow: JOP013 and coronal hole studies SUMER -- JOP013 and flatfield for tomorrow. UVCS -- nominal. Outflow velocity studies continue at 8 solar radii LASCO -- nominal. Synoptic today. Tomorrow will interrupt synoptic to perform C1 calibrations from 02-05 UT and 18-20 UT. EIT -- nominal. Obtained data in support of ICAL012 bracketing launch time. Supported MDI magnetic high rate campaign. There are movies of EIT observations taken (which complement the MDI FOV) on the Web for those who are interested. MDI -- nominal. In continuous contact.
