Weekly meeting shortly after the daily. Submode change this afternoon at 20:30 UT FOT Briefing ------------- S/C status is nominal. Anomalies: None Accomplished Activities: RSL, VIRGO, SWAN, Nom HGA Planned Activities: RSL, VIRGO, Extra VC2 8/31 to 9/4 Manuever activities (GyroCal, Roll, MM, SK, RW4) Ground System Anomalies: 198/1447 command error during HGA uplink at D16 - retransmission was good. 199/0223 failure to reacquire D42 - no impact Sun Status ----------- 2 bipolar active regions are in the NE. In LASCO C2, the west limb streamer is rather quiet, and the east is a little more complex. In 304, there is a nice prominence in the SE, and there may be an active region coming around the SE limb as well. Instrument Status ------------------ CDS - JOP 67 today and tomorrow SUMER - JOP 67 until the submode change. UVCS - Scan in Lyman-alpha channel from center to east, for tomorrow from center to west. EIT - bake out began and will continue for 10 days. A synoptic set of images will be available next week every other day. LASCO - JOP 67, and then a program to concentrate in north polar region in C2. Also, synoptic C1, C2, and C3 observations in 1 hour cadence. MDI - full disk magnetograms.
