CDS will have CME watch on NE limb protuberance. New region on NW disk. Magnetogram shows unusual configuration on NW disk AR. INSTRUMENT STATUS: CDS: Nominal. Today: JOP016, then CME Watch later today, AR study (SE), Tommorow: Same+synoptic, spectral atlases. SUMER: Nominal. Today: JOP016, NW reference spectra. Offline obseration to south hemisphere. UVCS: Nominal. Global synoptic study at 54 deg S at E limb. Yesterday attempted to follow the CME at 4Rsun, streamer unchanged in weak signal. LASCO: Nominal. Continuing synoptic observations. Yesterday: Dynamic Imaging to double resolution in image product. EIT: Nominal. Continuing CME Watch, nothing to report for last 24 hrs. Tests in shutterless mode successful, no significant damage detected. 5 min tests, true seq should be 30 < seq < 60min. Saturation of TLM buffer the limiting factor. 3x4 subfield. 16 second cadence. MDI: Nominal. Continuous dynamics. Flat filed corruption due to TLM. Hoping to get back structural model.
