25 APRIL Meeting Minutes FOT report ---------- S/C Status: Nominal, Except Receiver #1 Anomaly Summary: None Accomplished Activities: RSL, VIRGO, SWAN, Nominal HGA Time-Tagged Loads for SSR Record Activities Time-Tagged Loads for Evening VC2 Activities Receiver #1 testing Planned Activities: RSL, VIRGO, SWAN, Time-Tagged Loads for VC2 in Evening, Receiver #1 Testing -- TBD The SOHO spacecraft state is unchanged with the #1 receiver still unable to achieve lock. Commands are still being received through the low-gain antenna using the #2 receiver, and high-rate telemetry is still being transmitted through the high-gain antenna with the #1 transmitter. The MDI science campaign and other science operations are still continuing. Based on recommendations from meetings between ESA, Matra, and Alcatel Spazio ( the builder of the transponder), a series of tests are being performed which involve trying to re-acquire the #1 receiver at various frequency ranges. Testing continues. Ground System Anomaly Summary: 115/08:38 CPA Failure, DSS-61 Swapped CPAs, 5 minute delay returning to VC2 after SSR Dump 115/09:18 TC Block Sequence Errors, DSS-61 Instrument Status: ------------------ Intercal 001 - CDS, SUMER, EIT was successful however the UVCS portion was not completed due to the receiver #1 testing. It is up to UVCS if they want to reschedule. CDS - nominal. Plans are JOP061 (active region) and JOP062 with SUMER. Will also run a short filling factors study with UVCS over the weekend. SUMER -- nominal. Plans are JOP061 (active region) and JOP62 UVCS -- nominal. Had to abort their portion of Intercal 001 due to the testing yesterday with the DSN antennas. Will also run filling factors study with CDS. LASCO -- nominal. Will try some enhanced deep C1 exposures next week. EIT -- nominal. CME watch and JOP061 MDI -- nominal and still in continuous contact.
