SoHO Meeting Minutes MARCH 24, 1997 Chair: L. Allen (SOC), P. Judge (SUMER, SOL) ANNOUNCEMENTS: Planners may receive email stating a problem with IAPs. This is a problem we are in the process of fixing. There was a disk from which we read the list of campaign numbers that was not mounted. The "reminder" e-mail will be turned off until after the switch of the soho archive served (scheduled for tonight). There was bad weather and technical problems over the weekend at Sac Peak. SUMER showed data that was obtained on Friday. MDI -- Over the weekend ran full disk me_ve campaign and will switch to high-resolution field-of-view on Tuesday and Wednesday CDS -- Supported chromospheric dynamics study. From Yohkoh regions can see bright active region on East limb which will probably be at central meridian on Saturday (~ late in the week). CDS will follow that bright point as it goes around the disk. EIT -- Bakeout finishes today. Will be starting CME program running full disk magnetograms every 17 minutes. LASCO -- Ran special program to look at evolution of plumes in C2 over the weekend. Today, will be doing calibration of C1 and EIT images. UVCS -- Starting turbulance in streamer program. Yesterday at 3 solar radii, today at 4 solar radii, tomorrow at 5 solar radii.
