04 September Daily Planning Meeting Minutes Announcements ------------- No Science Club meeting today. Bruce Lites will give a presentation on the Sac Peak science program tomorrow after the daily meeting. FOT Report ---------- S/C Nominal. One S/C anomaly, Day 247/1755: SSU SEU Accomplished activities: RSL, VIRGO, SWAN uploads, CTOF recovery and data collection Planned for today: RSL, VIRGO, CTOF activity G/S anomaly summary: 2 POCC string crashes PACOR and ECS ------------- Nothing to report Instrument Status ----------------- CDS - Nominal. Running Full Sun program now, then coordinated observations with SUMER. Yesterday: Kitt Peak and La Palma studies (using solar rotation compensation for the first time!) Tomorrow: JOP044 on W limb (partial sequence due to AR presence) SUMER - Nominal. Yesterday: JOP044 in SE Today: Sac Peak chromo. oscill., OV lines in coronal hole, OV lines at E limb (both with CDS) Tomorrow: JOP044 in NW, Sac Peak, Intercal002 UVCS - Nominal. Today: Ly-alpha at 2.7 Rsun above S pole Tomorrow: same, above N pole at 1.5-2.0 Rsun (through Sunday) LASCO - Nominal. Coronal synoptic program continuing. A special thank-you to the FOT for allowing a single command during the SSU recovery - we gained two hours of observations which otherwise could not have been taken. EIT - Nominal. All this week: Chromo. oscill. lite in 304A NOTE: Only 48 shopping hours until the EIT bakeout. NOTE: EIT hopes to participate in future explosive events surveys. MDI - Nominal. High-res magnetic campaign running. La Palma/Sac Peak support this week (w/ some campaign testing) MDI's image stabilization system worked properly during CTOF activity yesterday. Owed FOT an apology -- their delayed commands were uplinked however MDI did not react to them. CELIAS - CTOF thermal testing yesterday and today.
