SWAN will be commanding today from MEDOC, but no dedicated NRT time is required. Yohkoh parameters have been added to the daily schedule listing. SOC requests feedback as to the desired organization of this schedule: by category or by time. SOC also requests the status of instrument-team mailboxes for planning purposes (e.g. mdi-ops@mdisas.nascom.nasa.gov). FOT REPORT: S/C Status: Nominal. S/C Anomalies: None. Accomplished Activities: RSL, VIRGO, SWAN Planned Activities: RSL, VIRGO 10/31 - RSL, Nominal HGA table (longer SVM pause needed) and acquire new tracking star (5.7 mag) G/S Anomaly Summary: 303/2045 - Late AOS due to D24 antenna problem. (13 min. NRT lost) INSTRUMENT STATUS: CDS - Nominal. Temp. monitor in GIS motor less worrisome than expected. Yesterday: SERTS test (good), JOP003. Today: JOP003. SUMER - Nominal. Yesterday: SERTS, scattered light in Ly-B. Tomorrow: JOP033. UVCS - Nominal. Yesterday: JOP003 support in OV, Ly-A. Tomorrow: JOP003 at a farther radius. EIT - Nominal. Yesterday: SERTS test, XBP, JOP003. Today: XBP, JOP003 at SW limb. LASCO - Nominal. Continuing SW limb AR watch, but no CMEs seen yet in SW. (Changes are evident, however). Mercury is now visible in C2 images. MDI - Nominal. Yesterday: SERTS test support. Level 1.5 FD magnetograms ("the Cadillac of magnetograms," i.e. calibrated, etc.) should be available on the Web within a week.
