Doney (SOC) Notes: Joe Covington (MDI) ANNOUNCEMENTS: Submode test on Saturday went well FOT REPORT SPACECRAFT STATUS: Nominal Anomaly Summary: 357/1440 - ACU Anomaly: TC timeout between words Accomplished Activities: Day 355 - RSL, VIRGO, SWAN, CELIAS, CEPAC (OCD 454) Day 356 - RSL, VIRGO Day 357 - RSL, VIRGO, SWAN, Switch to Subformat 2 Planned Activities: RSL, VIRGO 12/24 New Guide Star (2.9) 12/28 Transition to Submode 3 1/14 Momentum Mgt / Station Keeping GROUND SYSTEM ANOMALY SUMMARY: 355/2337 TM dropped out due to problem with JPL (5 min tm/cmd lost but recoverable) 356/0110 TM drop out due to D46 antenna drive going off (39 sec tm lost (unrecoverable), 1 UVCS command was retransmitted) 356/0936 Line overflow due to WIND data on-line (4 min degraded tm that is unrecoverable) 357/1327 CPA abort at D61 at start of pass (delay in beginning commanding) 357/1949 Both s/c receivers lost lock at D16 - station did resweep (4 min NRT interruption) INSTRUMENT STATUS: SUMER: Not present. UVCS: Nominal. Attempteded to observe sun-grazing comet. LASCO: Nominal. The 6th sun-grazing comet appeared in their FOV but became occulted due to one of LASCO's pylons. EIT: Nominal. Running in submode 2. Running one synoptic set per day and 5 full disk 195 images per hour. Since the submode 2 transition, Quicklook data has been sent in time reversed order which is corrected by EIT's software. MDI: Nominal. Running full disk campaign. CDS: Not present. SOLAR ACTIVITY CME in progress in west limb region Streamer in northwest Central Active Region AOB: None
