FOT report At about 8:00am an SEU occured in SSU , S/C went to gyros, we are now back to nominal. Roll drift was rather small. SSU is locked on same star (magn. about 7). All scheduled activities were performed. SWAN High Voltage of North Hemisphere Sensor was first switched ON. It went down while the counting rate wsa rather high but at a level already experimented on ground without anomaly. This problem occured at 19:35 UT anybody having noticed an anomaly at this time should tell SWAN team. Failure analysis continues. Activities were resumed one hour later with a lower High Voltage level without further problem. Southern Hemisphere Sensor High Voltage was then switched ON successfully. A star was detected at the proper location thus validating mechanisms position sensors calibration. More activities are planned for today, localisation of solar reflection on S/C body could be part of it. GOLF GOLF used a small part of shared NRT to tune filter temperature and excercise mechanisms. A delayed command has been submitted for up-linking today between 15:30 and 20:00. This could be done after SSR related activities at beginning of long pass. XTE launch has delayed long pass start to 18:50 leaving a total duration of about 12 hours (XTE launch was cancelled later due to altitude high winds). MDI Temperature trimming was continued, during shared NRT observation plan tables were up=linked successfully. VC2 high rate mode transition was excercised normaly. SUMER Mechanisms commissioning went very smoothly : about 500 commands being up-linked in the allocated hour. They are now fully commissioned. 3d operation mode was up-loaded without problem. Not yet understood problem affects slit rear camera used to locate sun position. Detector A was commissioned with success without high voltage powering. CDS Decrease of temperature drove to switching substitution heaters ON with 90% duty cycle. CDS shall remain in snooze mode until next year. LASCO / EIT No commanding activities, general monitoring was continued. EIT camera is still in bake out. UVCS No commanding activities, general monitoring was continued. CELIAS Smooth opening of STOF door has been completed, small effect on S/C was observed. Electronics checks were performed on MTOF and STOF : everything is OK. Extreme UV measures show appropriate dark current and solar light levels for both 304 line detectors and for aluminium bandpass defined zero order one. CEPAC No activities on EPHIN which is ON and fine. LION high leakage current is still affecting one detector out of six (which increases its dead time). ERNE is OK.
