Ran VC3 for MDI; will henceforward run ~ 15 minutes of VC2 at the beginning and end of each long, realtime contact, with VC3 in between. No telemtry lost. ---- Roll flag anomalies: Maryse Hervieux reports: 5 flags altogether (arc sec) excursion in roll wheel (Nm) DOY UT roll yaw torque demands --- -------- ---- ---- --------------- 358 03:14:44 42 -0.5 0.039 06:25:46 49 -0.8 0.050 14:43:48 41 -0.6 0.028 19:05:45 52 -0.6 0.045 359 03:52:03 49 -1.0 0.050 Currently, the data being examined have only one data point per flag, while the onboard sampling occurs every 15 ms. The roll pointing spec is +/- 420 arc sec long-term, 60 arc sec over 15 m, and 32 arc sec over 1 m (the last specifically for MDI). Trends analyses are being performed weekly, and the results will be reported to the daily meeting when sufficient data are in hand. ---- Contact time today: 15:06 - 07:40 UT ---- Issues: A first look at data quality of the tape recorder dump shows no problems. ---- Dominic Zarro will be demoing "xreport" for online anomaly reporting. Those who wish to use this routine will need to NFS mount the solarsoft (ssw) tree. ---- Meeting ended at 10:27 AM EST.
